These posters were created as promotional items for a short film premiere. Using photographs of the characters, and keeping the typography consistent with the film graphics, I used the plot line of the story to guide the type treatment.

The film, following a new girl in a high school, explores what it's like to be yourself, while also trying to fit into a clique. Repeating the type mimics the idea of a crowded high school, while one is contrasting  - representing the main character's unintended outcome of standing out a little too much.
